I LOVE Le Jardin at the Spa! I've been going here for over nine years and have not found any place that can do hair better than Le Jardin. All the hair stylists are highly skilled at what they do, are friendly and fun to be around and the property is beautiful as well - thus the name of the business. I know that when I arrive at Le Jardin I am in for a relaxing experience - coffee, tea or water is served - and I leave looking and feeling like a million bucks. I highly recommend Le Jardin if you are looking for a top quality, professional salon!

Wanted to thank KRISTINA for making my birthday hair cut so fun! I picked up the regular hair cut deal from their recent LivingSocial special. I haven't gone to get my hair done in ages and I'm so glad I decided to try out Le Jardin. I was greeted right away Kristina is light hearted and upbeat with a great attention to detail. I have no doubt thanks to her my hair will look great even in this storm we're having! I really enjoyed the decor, atmosphere, and easy going nature of the place.
Also when you go make sure to stop by their gift shop..but a warning you'll probably want to buy everything in the place. Everything there is very classy with a dash of sparkle and vintage flare, but also very fun.
So thanks again Kristina for making my 23rd B-day extra awesome!!

I have been having my hair done here by PAIGE for the last 2 years! I love her work and everyone always loves the results! She always makes my hair look fabulous! I highly recommend her as a hairdresser as I have followed her wherever she has gone for the last 8 years. Be sure and call her and ask about the "New Client" discount!

I went to Tania and got a FABULOUS haircut! I use to visit a very pricey WC salon and got tired of the overbooking,cancellations (yes, after I made an appt. very annoying) and the same ole boring hair cut. So I have been on the hunt for a new stylist!
I booked an appt for myself and my daughter right before christmas. I got there and entered a little cottage, there are 2 or 3 I believe. I like the lay out of the cottage. I didn't feel cramped like most salons, you have privacy because of the lay out.
Tania was there waiting for my daughter and I, on time and ready to go, PLUS PLUS! I liked the questions Tania asked and she listened to what I wanted and in the end I got not just a fabulous haircut but so many tips on how to style and products to use & avoid. I liked that we talked about maybe a spring and summer do! I'm defiantly coming back!
My daughter had pretty much the same experience. She is 13 and wanted something very specific, ahhh what teen doesn't, Tania listened and suggested and my daughter came out with such a cute, easy to manage cut! She is excited to go back and get some color for her "spring do".

Last month, I saw Sam Rossoni at Le Jardin at the Spa and she is amazing hair stylist. I am bad deciding how to wear my hair, I am not from the people who spend hours to do her hair everyday --- all I wanted is something easy, fresh and at the same time classy. She did it, NO actually she OVER DID IT. I love my hair and every day a get a complement, so if you need a great hair stylist PLEASE DO NOT WAIT --- go to Le Jardin at the Spa and see Sam Rossoni.

It was a good salon, overall. I got this feeling that this one girl was primarily doing the new clients from Living Social, while the "regulars" had more exprienced stylists. The woman before me was also bringing in the LIving Social stuff. I'd go back.

This review is for the fabulous stylist Michele Martinez. But I will backup for a bit and say this salon is an adorable group of little cottages and different stylists work in each. There is also a gift boutique in one of them. Each time I have been there I have felt comfortable and the front desk staff was very nice. It never feels catty like many other salons can be.
Now back to Michele. She has been in the industry for several years and I have followed her after her move to this salon. If you are looking for a new color this is your gal. She really knows her stuff as she is also a hair color educator/expert. She knows how to cut and do layers the right way. She has an awesome personality and she is honest with you. When you come in and you lay out all your concerns she addresses them and lets you know what the options are best suited for you. She isn't rushing you through the appointment. She takes the appropriate amount of time to do consistent quality work visit after visit.

Steve recently joined the salon and he is an EXCELLENT hairstylist - he's fantastic with color, cut and style and will let you know what looks good on you. He can transform your hair into a gorgeous modern cut and style. He's also very flexible with appointments and will make sure it's convenient for you. The next time you want to have great looking hair, come to Le Jardin and ask for STEVE! He's the best!!

I have been getting my hair done with Samantha for a little over two years and she is amazing. I am the type of girl that always has an idea in my head of what I want, but am not very good at explaining it. Samantha gets it right every single time. I drive an hour each way just to see her! Whether you want highlights/lowlights, or just the best styling around, I would highly recommend Sam. I have even referred friends to her that keep going back. To me that says a lot because it's so darn hard to find a great stylist these days, plus she is super sweet!
Oh, and the actual salon is nice too, very relaxing and yummy chai!

I had to get my color done in a pinch, and a friend suggested Robin. I was super scared since I had never strayed from my girl that I had seen for years in SF. Robin did an awesome job on my color! She totally listened to everything that I asked her for and did exactly that! I am very particular about the blond tones in my highlights as they can wash me out sometimes, but she got them just right. I am really impressed as I have been driving to the city for years now to get my color done just right by one of the top colorists at Joseph Cozza. I am so happy that I stumbled on Robin as she's gonna save me a lot of $ and time from driving to SF!
I did not get a cut while I was there, but I'm having Robin cut it next visit, so I'll be sure to review it as well.

I have stubborn hair that tends to turn brassy when I go blonde Tania has always colored/highlighted my hair perfectly. I have never had a cut that I am not happy with either, today had to have a cut that was a repair from me running to a closer salon last weekend. Atmosphere is nice and usually can get a last minute appointment.

After relocating to Contra Costa County, I searched for over a year for the right place.... This salon is great. All the girls interact very professionally with each other and I've seen many patrons leave with satisfaction.
I've had my hair dyed and cut by Claire twice. I'm so happy I've found her... great service at a great price. Not to mention, the complimentary chai tea was very nice.
I'm going to be going back this week for keratin complex treatment (because of some damage done to my hair in the past) and a cut. I will also be getting permanent make-up for the first time. I look forward to trying some of their spa services eventually and will be sure to re-post a new review to update on these services.

One stop Beauty, I call "Affordable Luxury" from my bikini wax to my highlights, they are the BEST!

Cute little place in a strange location. Separate cottages for hair, nails, services and one cottage ful,full, full of cute jewelry, handbags, and cool stuff. I really like this place and the owner is delightful.
The only reason I can't give 5 stars (YET) is because I keep getting so caught up in the gift shop area that I never actually schedule services.
Very charming spot though, and I see myself there in the future!

I bought a Groupon offer for a facial ( checked it out on yelp first) I was very impressed with my facial. She took her time, the products felt nice, and smelled yummy. The room was well appointed. Before I left, I was offered a discount on my next facial, and a card, after 8 spa services the next one is FREE. I made my next appointment before I left!
I found the place is a little hard to find, I drove past it, it looks like houses so it was easy to miss. At least next time I will know where I'm going.
Oh and old gift shop for a salon, but I do like shabby chic and vintage decor, so I found some unique items for my home.

I've had problems with my coarse and dry hair for years and years and have resigned myself to discount haircut salons, figuring it wouldn't make a difference. Then I found a groupon for Le Jardin and met hairstylist Elena Mena. Elena is a delightful woman and will charm you right out of the gate with her pampering and supportive advice about your hair, without overwhelming you or being hard-sell. She is very friendly and greets everyone who comes through the front door. She offers you a beverage then provides a relaxing scalp massage with aromatherapeutic oil. This felt particularly wondeful this morning, when I woke up with a headache. From my first appointment several months ago, Elena immediately understood the strengths and weaknesses of my hair and knew how to style it to my best advantage. She is honest and will explain why a suggestion of mine would not be conducive to a flattering look. She is thorough in asking me how I care for my hair and will make excellent suggestions without being patronizing or pushy. She takes care and time when cutting my thick and copious mane, and her blowouts make my hair smooth and silky. She always adds a few curls for good measure and I leave feeling simply wonderful. I have finally found an excellent hairstylist and need look no further! Thank you Elena, Le Jardin is lucky to have you and so am I!

I usually don't bother with reviews etc but just had to give major points to Rebecca, the Esthetician who I had a facial with recently. It was my first visit to Le Jardin at the spa and I was very satisfied with my visit. I purchased the facial through groupon, Rebecca definitly went above and beyond my expecations (as at times the service with groupon deals in the past hasn't always been up to par). She was extremely knowledgable and informative about the products we would be using, after I told her about my lack of success with my usual routine to maintain to clear skin she even put together a couple of extra products to use for our session that she thought would benefit. I really appreciated her advice, knowledge & samples she sent me home with & I have not had a break out since seeing her 2 weeks ago (amazing!). I give her a huge thumbs up & am looking forward to our next session!

Went there on a Groupon offer for massage. I have found more times then not you get groupon service with other groupon offers. Not so at Le Jardin. My husband and I both had excellent massages. He had Leanna who did a deep tissue. Hubby said it might be his best massage ever. Right here in Pleasant Hill. I saw Kim and had a simply lovely aromatheraphy massage. Perfect pressure. Spa room was nice and clean. bed was kinda wobbly but okay comfort. Rescheduled for next month speaks volumes
